Finally, LED Turn Signal Bulbs That Don't Need Resistors
Unfortunately, these brand-new 2019 Chevy Silverado's still include some outdated halogen lamps in addition to a mix of LED technology. In this video, I'll demonstrate how to complete the task and obtain the desired LED turn signals, giving your vehicle a sleek, contemporary appearance. The best part is that you can accomplish this without adding any more steps or wiring in a resistor. They're every way, plugged and let. Let's disassemble it to update it.
All you have to do is reach inside, remove the cover, remove the old lightbulb, and replace it. There is nothing to it. We'll be installing the GTR Lighting Carbide CANBUS 2.0 bulbs today. Now, the reason you keep seeing these things on this channel and what I adore about them is that they don't require any specific parts to operate on this truck. It is not necessary to splice any wiring or use resistors. It's easy to plug in and use. Install the new lightbulb after removing the old one. That's as easy as that.
You will now feel a small tab through the back of the headlamp, which you can pop out and pull in your direction by twisting it counterclockwise. At this point, you can take out the factory turn signal bulb, put in your Carbide CANBUS 2.0 bulb, and then put everything back into the headlamp. It's a straightforward and uncomplicated upgrade. It is just tough to shoot, but you can accomplish it in a few seconds on your driveway at home. Nothing needs to be disassembled; there is nothing to it.
On the other hand, a new truck is quite simple to fix. Chevy still has it figured out in terms of ease of installation, even though you probably thought you were going to have to disassemble a lot of things to get to those bulbs. Speaking of installation, I've made another video in which I demonstrate some of the top headlight bulbs available right now for this particular truck. We go over around six of the top brands on the market, and I demonstrate to you how well each one works with these headlights one by one.
