Pass or Fail: 7-inch Round Motorcycle Headlights

Pass or Fail: 7-inch Round Motorcycle Headlights.
For your cherished motorcycle's upcoming voyage next month, you have been window browsing for a high-quality 7-inch round headlamp, but you're not sure how to distinguish the good from the bad. Today, we're going over that in detail by examining the top and bottom options available.
STOCK HEADLIGHTS
We will discuss something similar to this (shown below), which can reach 510 maximum Lux on a low beam if you have an older Jeep Wrangler, motorcycle, or Harley Davidson with sealed beam headlights.
Remember that different headlights have varied beam patterns and that some are brighter than others. If your headlight looks like this, compare it to the ones we're going to discuss.

Max. Lux: 510 (Low Beam), 590 (High Beam)
If your motorcycle has contemporary 7-inch round headlights with a maximum brightness of 510, this is what you'll see. Although it has a more pronounced hot spot and is wider than the traditional headlight, we can yet improve. It's interesting to note that the brightness doesn't increase much when you go to the high beam. The beam pattern will only increase in height by a maximum of 80 Lux.
Vision X VX Series
Because Vision X manufactures light bars and uses the same iris technology as its XPR light bars in the high beam, the VX series headlight is an intriguing choice—the Jeep and Harley groups really like this headlight.

Lux Low Beam Maximum of 1,140, Lux High Beam Maximum of 670 (1,810 MAX. Lux High Beam WITH HIGH 4 ADAPTER)
This light includes a High 4 Adaptor. The adaptor enables a maximum boost of 1140 Lux for the high beam. To add extra usefulness, it can be turned on and off.

Morimoto Sealed 7
One of my favorites is the Morimoto Sealed 7, which has the ideal beam pattern. While other headlights are brighter than this one, not all of them fit as well. It is an excellent choice for almost any use case.
Now, let's examine the low beam. I adore that all of the light is concentrated in the upper band and that it has a super-wide projector form with an abrupt cutoff. Unlike some of them, you don't have a large, strange shape.
This beam pattern is textbook flawless, with light in all the correct spots. Driving at night is far safer with a beam pattern like this than with some of the alternatives available. The Morimoto Sealed 7 is an excellent option if you're purchasing headlights for a loved one and want something affordable.

Morimoto SUPER 7
Morimoto's LED projector, the MLED 2.0, was upgraded to the Super7 earlier this year. As a result, it is now better and brighter than it was.
After our tests, it continued to rule the fortress. This is partly because of its superb beam pattern and modular design, which can even be customized. The drawback? Due to its thickness, this item may not always be suitable for use outside of a Jeep Wrangler or Jeep Gladiator. It can be installed in certain motorcycles, though.
With this awesome, adjustable passive heat sink and a giant LED projector, the Super7 lets you provide a ton of light for your seven-inch spherical project. This is a textbook illustration of the ideal headlight beam pattern if you were seeking one.

Holley Retro bright
We'll start with this Holley headlight before moving on to all the contemporary styles. Indeed, the renowned engine components manufacturer now has an excellent vintage sealed beam headlamp. Projectors and LED accents are standard features of headlights that attempt to look period-appropriate.
Consider the Holley sealed beam headlight if you want something that will make it appear as though you still have your original headlights but still have modern performance. This headlamp uses a reflector with an integrated LED system and a conventional sealed beam-type lens. Swap out the LED cartridge to get the color you choose for your light. Really, it's set and forget.

Movotor Halo
Examining the Movotor Halo, which is at the other end of the quality scale. This light's performance is subpar despite its elegant appearance. Its low beam has a maximum lux of 160. In addition to having a meaningless beam pattern, that is 40 Lux less than the traditional sealed beam headlamp. Although it is a crap headlight, you do get 690 lux when you turn it to a high beam. There is no use for this beam pattern.

Quake LED
This Quake headlamp is a direct imitation of the JW Speaker, to start. I don't know about you, but goods being stolen bothers me. Even though Quake didn't do a great job with it, they should have at least done themselves a favor by creating a headlight that was at least slightly close to JW Speakers!
This headlight is really bad! Quake LED is a well-known brand. I have never used them on a car, which could explain why.
Does this Quake LED headlamp have a maximum brightness of only 230? The beam is so blue, and that is terrible. Driving while wearing this headlight is extremely risky. The high beams' maximum Lux of 490 does not significantly improve performance either. We strongly advise against installing these on your car because of their highly subpar performance.

SUP-LIGHT
If you find it challenging, the Sup-Light is even more complex than the last example. It is among the worst-performing headlights in the world, with a maximum brightness of just 140 Lux. The highest brightness at a high beam is 710 Lux, which is still not very excellent. You depend on high-quality, bright, low lights because you drive with them 90% of the time. This headlamp ought to be prohibited in the United States.

KC HILITES GRAVITY REFLECTOR
Ever since the KC HiLites Gravity series of LED headlights was released, I have been an enormous admirer. It was one of the best-performing drivable headlights I have ever seen, and I had it on my Jeep while I had it.
Both the standard KC HiLites Gravity LED reflector headlight and the projector-based KC HiLites Gravity Pro are available. Both are suitable for motorcycles and, if you own one, Jeeps. The KC HiLites Pro is the one to choose if you want something with greater depth. These will work perfectly if your motorcycle has a 7-inch circular headlight, which is found on the majority of Harley-Davidsons and certain Ducati's.

The KC HiLites Gravity Projector (below) and the KC HiLites Gravity Reflector (above) are distinguished here. They both operate exceptionally well to give you the best viewing experience possible when driving at night, with strong maximum Lux on both samples and an excellent beam pattern.

JW Speaker 8700 Evolution 2
When discussing LED headlights that are 7 inches round, it is impossible to ignore JW Speaker. These are the gold standard in the world of Harley Davidson and Jeeps.
To create their Day maker spotlight, Harley Davidson selected JW Speaker. Additionally, JW manufactures stock headlights for motorhomes, city buses, Polaris, and numerous other vehicles currently on the road. Thus, you are certain that you are purchasing a tried-and-true product from a company utilized by specialists in the field at all levels.
The reliable gold standard JW Speaker 8700 Evo 2 comes next. This device is incredibly reliable and performs well in practically anything.

JW Speaker 8700 Adaptive
For a weekend cruise, consider the 8700 Adaptive. Although the 8700 Adaptive isn't as bright as the others, it does have some really intriguing capabilities that you could find helpful if you frequently ride your bike over winding mountains. The matching side of the light will illuminate when you turn, improving your visibility around curves. The 8700 Adaptive is explicitly designed for bikes while being slightly more expensive than the Evolution 2. providing you with the best riding experience possible at night.

Truck-Lite 27270C
Truck-Lite created the first LED sealed beam headlamp for military use and then released this: the Truck-Lite 27270c headlight. Even after years of testing, it continues to have the finest and brightest high beam available.
There is no copying here. This is how a reflector LED headlight beam pattern should seem, and it's the genuine thing. Indeed, the tiny square hotspot in the Centre of the beam contains most of the light. Being able to generate a great deal of downrange illumination hundreds of feet ahead of your car is a fantastic thing.

Razor Off-Road
Although the large accent light on the front of this Razor Off-Road headlamp gives it a distinctive appearance, all that adornment may improve the beam pattern.
As we discovered with the Movotor Halo, a gorgeous pattern is not always equivalent to a maximum Lux or a pretty beam pattern. If you purchase headlights from dubious or off-brand vendors, you may end up with a stylish design but a subpar product. Even hazardous at times.
Although it may compete with the bare beams, the Razor-Off Road loses all of its points once you activate them. The clustered beam pattern causes the modest 530 maximum Lux to break down. The same is true for the high beams, which only reach 470 Lux at most and do not rise far above the lows. The lows are worse than the high beam pattern. Your uncle's college beaded drapes or a shower are reflected in it.
