LED TURN SIGNAL TECHNOLOGY
On some of Harley’s most well-known motorcycles, the body control module (BCM) shares a wire for powering the rear turn signal and the brakes. This is present in the Road King Special, Street Glide, and Road Glide models. This multiplexed signal limits the lighting of the rear turn signal. The turn signal must blink red since the braking function is also present.
Ledlightjeep’s plug-and-play SMART LED turn signals for Harley-Davidson motorcycles include ground-breaking technology. The brilliant LED clusters can directly replace the rear 1157 turn signal bulb. They have 48 dual-color LEDs under a spherical lens to enhance the light output. With the included smoked bullet lens caps, the units are DOT-compliant. The supplied controller mounts beneath the seat and is compatible with the LED turn signals. Combined, they offer complete contrast amber turn signal flash, vivid red brake light, and red running light. Amber illumination is added by this dual-color technology to let the motorcycle’s clear signals stand out. It also increases safety!
REAR TURN SIGNALS WITH ADDED SAFETY
The plug-and-play controller includes ten built-in brake flash and strobe patterns. The module’s dial can be rotated to select a pattern. Several well-known Ledlightjeep lighting devices can also use the brake flash or strobe pattern. It causes the rear fender’s bottom ProBEAM® Run/Brake LED TriBar light to flash. Additionally, it is compatible with any sequential (4-wire) or dual-color lighting attachment.
