Are the Vision X LED Light Cannons the Best Off-road Lights in the World?
Why the Vision X LED Light Cannons are some of the Best Off-road Lights in the World
Among their lighting range, the Vision X Light Cannon series is one of the most well-liked and valued items. The second version of Light Cannon, which has modifications to the mounts, body, light output, and quantity of LEDs, was released today after the first generation was an immediate success.
Considering that this light has an astounding 25 beam patterns, the degree of variety is incredible. We'll demonstrate how to make the most of this light and all the modifications from the first to the second generation. We will also provide you with a close-up view of every model for that comprehensive viewpoint.
Vision X's staff has been quite busy. When the original Light Cannon was first released years ago, a single 25-watt LED chip was incorporated deep within its iris reflector bulb. This device produced one thousand feet of usable light.
For comparison, a professional football field the size of a regulation field is 360 feet. Thus, this light can illuminate 2.8 football fields. How does a hail-Mary pass look? With the new type, that light length may be extended to 1,600 feet or roughly 4.4 football fields. I can't believe it. The upgrade included a change from a 25-watt to a 40-watt chip.
The packing and design are already innovative (lighting?) and it is difficult to make them any better. This was a step ahead of its time. It was progressive, and Vision X improved it. In addition to being lighter and using more power, it is also smaller thanks to a newly created bracket.
It will no longer be a problem if mounting is a problem. An upgraded cable system out the back, a lower profile, and more adjustable trunnion brackets than the original pedestal bracket are all present now. With the use of the newest and best LED chip technology and increased thermal efficiency, all these new characteristics may be pushed even further.
This is a long-distance flight of a single LED chip within a giant reflector. It's a spot and pencil beam, a type of light pattern that's usually only used on tracks and off-road.
They devised this clever technique to quickly switch on and off various beam patterns. The user can alter the beam pattern to red, amber, blue, or white, but they can also keep the same beam pattern because these light filters are simple and quick.
You will, therefore, be in the spotlight for a long time if you don't have a cover. You can use the elliptical beam, which will have a rectangular beam pattern if you wish to maintain a clear light.
Can you see every shape and groove inside the lens? This diffuses the light and enables it to move from a spot to a flood; it is referred to as fluting. You then have a strong driving beam. Furthermore, you have distinct uses for fog, dust, snow, and dirt.
All you have to do is take the covers off of your glove box. You may put them in there, approach the front of your car, and put them on when you need to. Drive in the fog, deep in the mountains, in the blazing desert, or the early morning light. Anywhere you go, you can turn on the appropriate coverings and use the light for something entirely different.
You can do the same thing with the second-generation Light Cannon. Therefore, the new models are not only more cost-effective, but they also offer higher value due to their increased brightness, long range, and the ability to still employ the covers to generate 25 distinct beam patterns.
They also invented the multi-LED cannon, which is another significant advancement from the first generation to the second generation of Light Cannons.
One 40-watt LED is replaced with several 49-watt LEDs. These days, the multi-LED is just a substantial light onslaught. Although you give up the range, the multi-LED light cannon is incredibly bright. As you can see, the optics aren't made for very great distances as the single LED version does.
Thus, the single LED's long-range beam is switched to the multi-LED's medium-range beam. This device can reach 700 feet, which is almost half as far as a single LED light output. The trade-off is less distance but far more incredible lightness.
The single LED will have 3,000 lumens, while the multi-LED will have 5,000 lumens. Consider combining these on the front of your car. Consider using two long-distance lights and two medium-distance lights that are really bright. This will offer your car a healthy balance of distance and brightness while keeping Light Cannon's excellent build quality.
We're going to use our Ford Super Duty construct to demonstrate this. Our new Vision X grill was created especially for the CG2 Light Cannons. It will be outstanding.
One of the Light Cannon series' most significant advantages is that they come in sizes to suit all needs and applications. There are two types of three-and-a-half-inch rounds: single-chip and multi-chip. This is available in single-diode and multi-diode varieties.
Next in line are the four-and-a-half-inch round, which is available in single or multi-diode, the six-and-a-half-inch round, which is also available in single or multi-diode, and an even larger one, which is eight-and-a-half inches in diameter. Given its size, it would be astounding to use that enormous light on your rig.
