What are Rock Lights?

Tiny lights in hard casings called rock lights are usually mounted underneath a car's body to light the area underneath. There are numerous styles of rock lights. Some rock lights have RGB colour-changing LEDs, while others have static single-colour bulbs. Some feature a collection of tiny LEDs, while others have a single lightbulb. The lights are frequently protected by a metal or sturdy plastic that can withstand physical harm, weather issues, and even prolonged wear and tear because of the circumstances off-roaders want.

There are numerous uses for Xprite's Jeep rock lights, particularly those with RGB capabilities. They are a terrific way to light up the area underneath you, look good, and provide light from underneath your Jeep. They were designed for use when a vehicle climbs at night and were nicknamed rock lights. People will frequently wait close by and watch the ascent to shout out directions, so you must be careful when driving such a big vehicle over rocky terrain. The voyage can and should not cease just because it gets dark. You can securely navigate dangerous rock formations with the help of rock lights.

Xprite offers the Trophy series (seen below), the Discovery series, and the Discovery Plus series.

How to install rock lights

  1. Finding the best location for your rock lights should be your priority. We advise you to use the flat areas beneath your car that you can easily puncture. The Trophy series lights include a curved rubber mount that will help you mount them steadily if your surface isn't flat and merely has curves.
  2. A little rubber base on the trophy series rock lights directs the wire from the light's centre and pushes it to the side. Additionally, it has a hole in the middle for the wire to pass through. If you were going to use the centre hole, you would need to drill a hole in the bottom of your car. Before doing the last bit of drilling, you can feed the wire through the hole since it separates in the middle.
  3. You can either pre-drill your holes and attach them with a long bolt and nut, or your screws will need to pierce the frame. Pre-drilling the holes is advised if you must penetrate metal; if it is plastic, the holes can be readily punctured; in that case, use the screws.
  4. After mounting the component, follow those procedures again for every light, distributing them uniformly around the underbelly of your car.
  5. After that, you can zip-tie each wire to its proper location and feed it through the body. You can control your own cables to avoid melting the wires on your tailpipe or catching them in moving parts.
  6. Filter every one of these connected to your power supply. You can connect to an ACC, the fuse box, or the battery directly.
  7. Although every car is unique, connecting your wires to a power source is the same procedure. You have two options: tap into pre-existing lines or connect straight to the source.
  8. Once the electricity is on, you may adjust the colors, switch between the several flashing modes, or connect to music using the remote control or the Bluetooth phone app to get the lights to sync with the music.
