How to Install LED Lights on your Motorcycle

Welcome to the team if you recently bought a brand-new Harley-Davidson® motorbike. You've joined a long-standing group of motorbike enthusiasts. Everywhere in the nation, you can locate other Harley-Davidson® riders who are just as excited as you are.

In addition, you'll find that the designers created your motorcycle with personalization in mind. Your Harley-Davidson® motorbike can be tailored to your preferences and needs. So, where do you even begin?

An LED lighting system is what we at LedLightJeep advise. They will give your bike flair and increase your visibility to other road users. Moreover, you can do it in the convenience of your own house.

If wiring and installation aren't your thing, bring your bike and LED light strips down to our skilled pros and have them do it for you. We've outlined the basic processes below. Our mission is to serve the areas of Buffalo, Lockport, Niagara Falls, Batavia, and Rochester, New York, with pride.

Test your Light Strips

Ensure everything is functional and you have everything you need before you begin. Arrange your LED light strips in an accessible manner and label the connections between them. A battery, LED light strips, a fuse box, a switch, and extra wiring should all be included in your kit.

Verify that every component is present, and if the wiring schematic for your LED kit is included, use that rather than attempting to figure it out on your own. To facilitate the removal of the strips after installation, you also need to make sure you have masking tape and possibly Velcro.

Once you have everything you need, give your LED strips a try. You can use the battery in your motorcycle or a 9-volt battery. If you come across any defective strips, return them.

Map Out Your Plan

Check your LED strips once you have everything you need to get started. You can accomplish this by using the battery on your motorcycle or a 9-volt battery. Return any strips that don't work correctly.

Wire it Up with Led Lighting Kits

It's time to start the installation now. Put all cables into the junction box to create one positive and one negative lead. You must wire the relay box between the connection box and the battery if your switch is remote rather than manual. This kind of system also requires no extra installations because it comes with fuses.

On the other hand, a fuse boat to the negative lead and a mounting locati0n are needed for a manual switch. We suggest placing it out of sight.

Connect ring terminals to the positive and negative leads after wiring all the required parts in order. Cut off half an inch of plastic from each lead wire to show the copper. Wrap the lead wires around the ring terminal connection point.

Connect the battery's positive lead to the positive terminal. Attach the negative lead to the negative terminal after ensuring the system switch is off. Flip the switch to verify that everything was done correctly. Check connections, wires, lights, and other signs of incorrect placement or damage if some LED lights aren't working.

Once you're satisfied, switch out the masking tape with Velcro to allow you to move them around after you've installed them. Zip tie and clean up loose wires so they don't interfere with your look or performance.

Now, you're ready to cruise around town in style. LED lights not only upgrade your motorcycle in a stylish way, but also help you stay seen as the days are getting shorter.
