Rock Lights
What are Rock Lights?
Tiny lights in hard casings called "rock lights" are usually mounted underneath a vehicle's body to light the area underneath. There are numerous styles of rock lights.
While some rock lights have static, single-color bulbs, others have RGB LEDs that can change color. Some are made of a single lightbulb, while others are made of several tiny LEDs.
Offroad lights are usually covered by a strong metal or plastic casing. This casing protects them from damage, weather, and wear and tear. It is necessary because offroaders face rough conditions. This is necessary due to the rough conditions offroaders encounter.
The Jeep rock lights from LedLightJeep serve various functions, particularly the RGB models. They're excellent for lighting the area beneath you, are aesthetically pleasing, and provide light from beneath your Jeep. They were designed for use when a car climbs at night, known as rock lights.
When navigating rocky terrain with a large vehicle, caution is necessary. It is common for onlookers to watch the ascent and provide directions by shouting. How to install led rock lights
- Choosing the best location for your rock lights should be your priority. We advocate the flat, easily punctured surfaces beneath your car. The Trophy series lights have a curved rubber mount to help you secure it on uneven surfaces or curved areas.
- The wire from the light is guided to the side by a small rubber base on the trophy series rock lights. This base helps direct the path of the wire. It also has a central hole through which the wire can pass.
- If you wanted to use the center hole, you would need to drill a hole in your car's bottom. Before you finish drilling, you can pass the wire through the hole since it detaches in the middle.
- You can either pre-drill your holes and use a long bolt and nut to secure them, or your screws will need to pierce the frame. If you need to make holes in metal, it's best to drill them first. But if it's plastic, you can easily poke holes in it and then use screws.
- Once the part is attached, follow the same steps for each light, placing them evenly under your car.
- After you finish that, pass the wire through the body and zip-tie each wire to its proper locati0n. You can control your cable management to prevent the wires from melting on your exhaust or getting caught in moving parts.
- With a wire attached to your power supply, filter all of these. You have three connection options: straight to the battery, fuse box, or ACC.
- Although every car is unique, connecting your wires to a power source is always the same procedure. You have two options: use pre-existing wires or connect straight to the source.
- After you turn on the power, you can change the colors and rocker light switch between different flashing modes. You can also synchronize the lights with the music using the remote or the Bluetooth phone app.
Attention:
Before you buy it, you should know if it takes longer to wire rock lighting. You should invest extra time because installing them beneath the car requires laying a lot of cables. Additionally, mounting the lights on the UTV could be more challenging.
During outdoor excursions, rock lights get dusty; thus, please clean their surfaces as soon as possible to keep them clean. Prevent the lens from melting due to internal heat buildup.
